Probability Games powers up Victor Chandler's latest online venture

A deal signed earlier this year between the Victor Chandler betting group and London-listed Probability Games (see previous InfoPowa reports) came to fruition this week with the launch of a new mobile gambling site.

The new service is thought to be Probability's largest contract to date. The casino and slots games will be available through mobile portals in the UK. Chief Executive Charles Cohen says the partnership will see games such as roulette, blackjack and video poker available on the majority of UK handsets. The initial product offering will also include some progressive jackpot games.

"There's an enormous market for people who like to play games on impulse," Cohen claims. "Our peak times are commuter times and evenings, with people returning from nights out."

Revealing that his company already services 150 000 mobile players in the UK, Cohen said he was confident that the mobile gaming industry would continue to grow in the wider market, where the demographic profiles are broad. With the increased penetration of mobile telephones and parallel advances in technology the sector had a positive future.
